This week has been insane. Starting with my uncle’s dog dying (we’re a pretty close family) and his wedding last Saturday, I was kind of a mess. I blame it on my period, though. I just realized that everything was changing and I broke down while dusting photographs of dead family members I don’t remember meeting. After that hour of uncontrollable sobbing, things started to get better. At least Monday was better. I visited SMU (Southern Methodist University) and received an email about a Columbia (my number one choice for next year) interview. Made my day. The next day though, I had to go back to school. I’m currently running for Vice President of the senior class (don’t ask me why, I’m sort of regretting it) and a whole lot of drama came out of it, which shouldn’t have (oh wait, its high school, what am I thinking). Anyway, another breakdown ensued which has lasted, off and on, until today pretty much. Tomorrow is the election and although I’m pretty confident I’m going to lose, I’m just glad it’ll be over. I’m sorry I’m so boring and my life completely revolves around school and prospective colleges. When I get more interesting, I will definitely let y’all know!
